What are the 3 different types of D4002 ejector springs?
There are three different part numbers: V40G40, V40G50 and V40G39.
The V40G50 exists in stainless steel and steel zinc plated.
As for the other parts:
-V40G40: Same form of spring than V40G50 but with cadmium plated Grommet and Retaining Ring.
-V40G50: Same form of spring than V40G40 but the complete assy is passivated acc. to EN2516 or AMS2700.
-V40G39: different spring form (thinner than G40/G50) assy is passivated acc. to EN2516 or AMS2700.
Note that the V40G40 is cadmium plated ( probably this kind of finish will not exist so long anymore doe to the REACH Standards )
V40G39 and V40G50 will continuously be produced and depending on your application the only recommendation you can give is related to the optical difference or the space you have around the Grommet/Stud so that you can choose between the wider or the thinner spring.
